While fathers usually guide their sons through life crises, things go the other way around in this independent comedy-drama from Turkey. Adnan (Reha Özcan) has been a widower for nearly five years, but he acts as if his wife passed only a few weeks ago; he's been trapped in a deep funk for years and has become emotionally unavailable to his teenage son Burak (Kamer Celenk). Adnan doesn't fare much better with the rest of the world, and a long series of screw-ups leads to him losing his job as a parking lot attendant and being named in a lawsuit. While Burak has already moved out of the house and is living with sympathetic relatives, he decides he needs his father back and sets out to free Adnan from his doldrums, though that's more easily said than done

In My Home Is a Dark and Cloud-Hung Land, Julian Rosefeldt critically explores the German term Heimat, which refers to the sentiment of feeling at home, by featuring the forest as a complex motif. While individual figures-recognizable as references to the Romantic paintings of Caspar David Friedrich-interact on three screens in absurd ways with the nature surrounding them, a bizarre stage performance blending a forest setting and an opera hall unfolds on the fourth screen. In numerous quotes and references, literary narratives, fairy tales, and mythology are interwoven with German history, especially in reference to the Nazi period. The forest appears as a projection surface of German identity, ranging from closeness to nature to ideological appropriation.

Cloud Burst tells the story of Tim and Jenny Barber. When they lose their model aeroplane, they meet Ram Pandit, a kindly scientist working on a rainmaking machine to help the people of his native India. Unfortunately, Ram's evil twin Ravi (played by the same actor - Renu Setna) wants it himself and steals it. Tim and Jenny save the day, but Ram discovers a spy in his camp. Richard Carpenter presented the studio bits, with Wordy (Mr Watchword, to give you his full name) appearing for the first time.

This animated series is about two kittens, 7 year old Hongbi and her 5 year old brother, Hongshi. The series follows their adventures which include the kittens and their friends, Wooli, Ruis, Boo, Cookie, Mimi and Ed. Learning the importance of practice and patience, being kind to others, performing in a school play when one has hiccups and dealing with jealousy about a new baby are among the story themes of the show. Based in part on characters from the children's book by Baek Hee Na.
